Does your sales copy suck? Double or Triple Your Income With A Good Sales Letter Today!

Copywriting Tips For Crafting Killer Sales Letters

What is so special about the sales letters that are always read? What is it about the sales letters that sell products? What is the secret to sales letters that keep readers reading until the final line? Why do we buy on the basis of some sales letters and not others, even though they offer the same benefits and features?

To have an effective sales letter, it is important to first map out your objectives. Once you are clear about your objective, it will be easy for you to write a good sales letter. Here are a few of them:

a) For selling any Product or Service
If your sole aim is to sell your products or service, you will need to convince people. You need to use words that convince the prospect of your product or service. Remember, do not be pushy. Talk in a conversational tone.

b) To Notify the Customer
If your sole objective is to provide the consumer with all essential information about your business or product or service? Such sales letters are, as a result, usually escorted with leaflets and other inserts to give such information.

c) To Get a Response
The prospects may contact you for many reasons other than wanting to buy the product or service. It can be for further information, a free sample/trial, a personal visit, etc. Habitually, consumers do not like buying without physically seeing or trying out the product/service. So you must keep an option to demonstrate openness. This also helps to build your credibility. The prospect will feel that you are genuinely interested in them and not just there to sell your products.

Why it is important to have a good sales copy…

Now, let’s say you have a $97 product and a decent sales letter up on your website that converts visitors to buyers at 1%. Let’s also say that you drive 3000 unique visitors to your website a month, so at 1% you would be making $2910 (minus advertising costs and expenses).

That’s not bad achievement for a start! But after a while, you begin to get bored with that number and decide you want to double your income. Now there’s three ways you can do that:

1. You can double the price of your product from $97 to $194 (this will probably kill your 1% conversion and your overall profits would drop)
2. You could try driving double the traffic to your website and see what happens (this is not always easy, as traffic does not come on demand – it can also be a costly choice)
3. Or, you could work on improving your sales copy and increase your conversion rate to 2% (if you have a good product this is a very possible)

That is how powerful a good sales copy is. Just by tweaking and improving your sales letter you can go from 3000 visitors a month with a $97 product converting at 1% for a total of $2910 in sales to: 3000 visitors a month with a $97 product converting at 2% for a total of $5820 in sales!

That’s Right, You Can Easily Double Or Sometimes Even Triple Your Profits Just By Improving Your Sales Letter!
